Yuki Davis (she/her) joins Groundswell Fund as the Program Officer of the Birth Justice Fund. She is deeply committed to uplifting bodily autonomy and the birth and reproductive justice movements through an approach rooted in compassion, humility, and relationship.
Prior to joining Groundswell Fund, Yuki worked for nearly a decade at the intersections of public health, social justice, community engagement, and reproductive equity. Most recently, she was the Manager of Policy and Advocacy at Every Mother Counts, where she contributed to the organization’s efforts to uplift community-led change to achieve equitable health outcomes and respectful experiences for birthing people. During this period, Yuki also helped launch and support the growth of JustBirth Space, a collaborative partnership that provides virtual perinatal support grounded in a birth justice framework.
Yuki is a full-spectrum doula and is on the board of her local abortion fund. At the Eastern Massachusetts Abortion Fund, she works to shape and guide the fund’s path toward healing, mobilization, and strategic growth. She holds a bachelor’s degree in development studies from Brown University and a master’s degree in community health and health equity from the Harvard School of Public Health.
