Sherie Salter-Reid is a certified public accountant with 17+ years of experience in public and industry accounting. Sherie holds an MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of the West Indies.
Her career began in public accounting as an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers and later continued in industry accounting, working for a few non-profit companies, and most recently, an outsourced accounting firm. During her career, Sherie’s passion for accounting was consistently recognized and she progressively grew from a staff accountant role to her current role as controller. She has enjoyed working in industry and supporting the operations of businesses as they grow. More specifically, Sherie enjoys working in the non-profit industry, using her skills to support programs in a mission-driven company.
In her spare time, Sherie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and traveling. She was born and raised in Jamaica and grew up actively involved in community service with her family. She is honored to be a part of the team at Groundswell Fund and proud to be able to contribute to its success.
