Diana is the IVE Co-Manager at Groundswell, supporting organizations that engage voters on the ground.
Born in Mexico and having lived in the United States for the past 24 years, Diana is passionate about ensuring that all people have what they need to thrive regardless of where they come from or where they are going.
Diana’s driving principle is that no one is too big or too small to take action against injustice; it takes a village to support and nurture us all, from babies to adults, and we all do our part to build a better world.
Prior to Groundswell, Diana was the Movement Politics Director at Workers Defense, where she helped build the organization’s civic engagement program from the ground up and led their work to win rest break ordinances for construction workers. A primary focus of Diana’s was engaging monolingual Spanish speakers in the organization’s work and campaigns while developing and leading leadership and popular education for the membership.
