Beth works at the intersection of technology, operations, people and learning. She sees her tech work as a key part of supporting the people around her so they can focus on their transformational work in the world. She comes to Groundswell Fund with a passion for Reproductive Justice and gender liberation, 10 years of experience in tech and operations roles, and skills in adult learning, facilitation, and training.
Beth has worked in healthcare, nonprofits, higher ed, and social impact businesses and thrives in organizations that are building out values-aligned processes. She loves to think about how liberatory values can show up inside the operations of the organizations we work in, and is especially interested in how people come together to make decisions about how they work.
She loves to learn about facilitation techniques that bring as many voices as possible into conversations and problem-solving. She is confident she can make even an info security training fun.
Beth graduated from Antioch College with a degree in Sexuality Studies and has an MA in American Studies from the University of Minnesota where she studied histories of oppression and resistance in US medicine. She loves to parent, cook, garden, dance, nap, and read.
