A Critical Pipeline Fund that Supports Pregnant People in Tennessee
Founded in 2011, Tennessee-based Catalyst grantee SisterReach supports the reproductive autonomy of women and teens of color, poor and rural women, LGBTQ+, and gender non-conforming communities through the framework of reproductive justice.
In anticipation of the Tennessee abortion ban, SisterReach announced a new practical support fund: The Illinois Reproductive Justice Pipeline Fund, which will support the practical needs of pregnant people from Tennessee (lodging, transportation, food, childcare support) and surrounding southeastern states to access abortion care in Illinois and other sanctuary states.
In 2023, SisterReach will continue distributing critical resources focused on family planning, sexual and reproductive health, and intersecting issues around community policing, LGBTQ+ rights, and voting rights.
