Jess is Groundswell Fund’s Donor Relations Manager. She is a queer Filipina and Lenape artist, doula, healer, futurist, and reparations pathfinder. She is intuitive, grounded, and believes deeply in solidarity, and that our most authentic expression is a catalyst for change.
Inspired by what could be, she is passionate about energizing others with visions of the future. As a development professional, she is lit up by reparation frameworks that center, uplift, and resource those that are most historically oppressed.
With over a decade of experience in community development, she’s always engaged in local organizing, shining a light on those needing to be seen and resourced. Most recently organizing around healing justice for traditional health workers of color in rural America and tending culture work through large-scale murals, watercolors, poetry, and ancestral teachings.
